API Keys

A free LiqFlow API key includes 50,000 calls a month, shared across both LiqFlow APIs and resetting on the 1st of each month, UTC. The free tier serves full live data: nothing is delayed, throttled or time-shifted.

A key is required from 27 October 2026, and requests without one are refused from 1 November 2026. On 27 October 2026, as a rehearsal, they are refused for the first 15 minutes of every hour (UTC). Send the key as an Authorization: Bearer header or an X-API-Key header on each request; every response returns X-RateLimit-Remaining so a client can see what is left. Usage limits start on 15 November 2026: before then calls over the allowance are counted but not blocked, and from then on they answer 429 until the 1st. Key holders get an email at 80% and 100% of their allowance. From 1 November 2026 a missing or revoked key answers 401.

Signing up emails a one-time link that shows the key once; the key itself is never emailed and is stored only as a hash. One free allowance per person, shared by up to five keys, which can be listed and revoked at any time from the same page. Paid plans raise the allowance: Hobby at $19 a month for 1 million calls plus the live liquidation websocket, Pro at $49 for 5 million and four times the per-minute rate limit, and Business at $149 for 25 million with commercial redistribution rights. Paid plans are sold by LiqFlow LLC and paid by card through Stripe; the allowances are enforced from 15 November 2026.
